Digital painting is an extension of the artists palette.
As photographic artists we spend thousands of hours perfecting our ability to capture light, to control it, to manipulate it, and distort it. The very essence of what an artist does in a painting. In this class we reverse the roles. We will learn to use light in a medium that allows us to add and subtract light in a way that is impossible with photography. You will grow as an artist and photographer alike.
Come join us for a weekend of creativity and laughing!
Plan on learning:
Painting with Photoshop
Painting with Actions and Brushes
Painting with Corel Painter Essentials 5
Painting with Corel Painter 2018
We will be using our laptops on Sunday after you have had a day to absorb the primers taught on Saturday. If you have a laptop it will be helpful but not required. There will be extensive discussions on how to take your images from "Imagery to Artistry" a subject that Doug teaches all over the country.
